I took my first test yesterday. It was pretty easy. I finished all of the summer assignment, including my book report. It feels good.

Well, for starters, it sucked. My schedule got changed BIG time. Oh well. My birthday's tomorrow. Ah!!!

I Just Got Back from Six Flags!!!

This day was CRAZY!!! We rode Atom Smasher, Batman: The Ride, Buccaneer, Colosuss, Déjà Vu, Goldrusher, Goliath (5 freakin' times!!!), Log Jammer, Revolution (2 times), The Riddler's Revenge, Roaring Rapids, Scream!, Swashbuckler, Tatsu (2 times), Viper (2 times), and X², not in that particular order. I just wanted to thank Nina, Bryan, K. Quez, Fiona, Phien, K. Sy, Lauren, and even Pengs for making my last official day of summer really Special-tacular for me. Inner Space = Us. Remember that, Nina? Haha. Fun day. We went to CSI: Live & ate at Johnny Rockets too. At the end, Lauren, Phien, Fiona, and I walked all the way from the park to Wendy's, while the others left. That was a pretty scary trip. Everything was worth it. Couldn't ask for a better way to end the messed-up summer. Good night.

Camp

Drill team camp this week was SO worth it. I almost won the drill down, but Nina and I got out on the same command. We performed the dances we learned ["Green Light (feat. Andre 3000)" by John Legend, "Nothin'" by N.O.R.E., & "Your Armor" by Charlotte Martin) & I got Superior! on all three of them (one "Ellen" from Tony & two "Superior!"s from Stephanie; still, they're all blue)!!! I also got MVP from Zareh's lyrical dance class. Pretty psyched about than one.

But not as psyched as I was when I made the Top 10 Finalists (along with Arielle, Sabriyya, K. Quez, Nina, Daniel, Lauren, Bryan, & Iris) for the Best Camp Dancer! We had to make a three 8-count dance solo to "Love Me" by Janet Jackson. When it was time for me to perform, I just freestyled it & choked. Luckily, my into was better than Sabriyya's (she did military marching; I did the Robert Felix shimmy). Nina won, however, and I'm very proud of her. She deserved it since she "went out of her comfort zone, did what Erik said to do, and was inspirational." I <3 her; she is an amazing person (like me!!!). After that, we took our last fun run for camp. Whoever invented fun runs had a sick and twisted mind. That's all I'm sayin'.

After that, Nina & I went to Sizzler with her dad and celebrated. Before that, we went to Gateway Animal Hospital to pick up Cappy's ashes (R.I.P.). We went to her place and Bryan came over. Then, the three of us went to the Americana. K. Sy and K. Quez met up with us at Borders and we just chilled after that. Today was a long-ass day. Need some Z's. Adiós, muchachos.

Hell Week

Yesterday was a long day. It was the final day of Hell Week and we learned the choreo Erik made for Large Lyrical. First, the song was "The Heart of the Matter" by India.Arie. But then, it got changed to "How Six Songs Collide" by Norwegian Recycling. Although we just learned 4 sections of the routine, we were SORE at the end of the day.

After that, Nina, Daniel, K. Quez, K. Sy, & I got picked up by Nina's mom and got dropped off at the Glendale Galleria. We were so crammed in the car (Nina's siter was there too), it wasn't even funny. Daniel, K. Quez, K. Sy, & I went to the Americana to meet up with Bryan and his West Covina friends. Nina went to eat @ the Food Court with her mom and sister.

We met Bryan and Co. outside Barnes & Noble. His Co. are Kathleen, Jackie (called her Jeremiah), & Katrina. They're pretty nice...The three West Co girls went somewhere else and we went roaming. Daniel left with Jessica & Paolo, who we saw unexpectedly. Oh! Did I tell you? You can't be in big groups while you're at the Americana. Stupid rule.

Nina met us at Forever 21 (or XXI Forever) and we went to Alexis's house. Julia & Kopo (Kevin Perez) were already there. We ate dinner & prank-called people. Pretty fun. Person that stayed the longest on the phone with us stayed for over 8 minutes...HAHA...Mhm.

Boredom on a Sunday

I HATE SUNDAY. It's the worst day of the week. That's an understatement. You go to church, eat lunch, then what? Sunday doesn't satisfy me. It never has, except for when my birthday party was on a Sunday. I would kill the guy who made up Sunday.

I am oh-so bored out of my wits. I think people can actually die from boredom. Like one minute, they're doing nothing; the next, they're dead. Just dead. Dead...

OMG. I can just SCREAMMMMMMMM!!! I'd rather be back in Chemistry than spend another Sunday like this. That's how friggin' desperate I am...Ugh. I HATE CHEMISTRY.

Fiona

Fiona Marie Ho. PRETTY SELF EXPLANATORY. Her cake day is August 14. Her favorite romantic movie is The Notebook. Right now, Fiona is reading Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. Fiona may look innocent to you, but she isn't. Just 'cuz she's short, people think she's all "pure" and stuff. She's an amazing person: loyal, fun, outgoing...I just described her as a dog. Wow.

Hell Week #1 has finished. Woohoo!!! I can finally rest...

I chilled at K. Quez's house today. Nina, K. Sy, K. Quez, & I watched America's Best Dance Crew, So You Think You Can Dance, & Mindfreak. We ate this weird taco thing. Pretty fun. Glad things are back to NORMAL.

After practice, I chilled with Nina. We went to her house and watched lyrical dance solos on Youtube. Tarin Pratt is the bomb. We ate pizza bites from Trader Joe's (soooooooo gooooooood). Nina's mom was there, too. She's really nice. I love going to Nina's house; the atmosphere is so calm there. Nina has five cats: Obi, Fuji, Cappy, Mochi, & Milo. Obi sucks on you. He's weird, but he's energetic. He's a cool cat. Then, my mom picked me up. Pretty fun day.

After practice, Nina, Greta (Mrs. Cullen to you), Gabbie, & I went to Ralph's. We bought food and ate it @ a secret place. Shhhhh!!! We talked about the Twilight Saga and how it relates to real life. Well, it's not real, but the situations are! You know what situations I'm talking about!

We went to the Upper Dance Room at 3:oo p.m. and Greta taught the gymnastics class. She makes a good coach, honestly. At around 4:00 p.m., Lindsay came and she taught the dance class for the Co-Ed girls. Nina was freaking crazy!!! She got her left switch-leap in just ONE try! I'm so proud of her. Jann was so hilarious. When she was doing the exercising circle, her face was so funny. But she gave it her all and that's what matters. All of them were really sore during dance class. At around 6:00 p.m., it ended and we all went home. Whoo...To me, it was a day well-spent. No L.I.E.

Practice today was tiring but rewarding at the same time. Erik's words were so inspiring.

After practice, K. Sy, Bryan, Nina, & I went to Yoshinoya to eat. I was so hungry. I ate a combo bowl, while they just ate regular bowls. Then, we went our ways. I went to Barnes & Noble, K. Sy went somewhere, and Nina & Bryan went home.

As I'm walking through the bookstore, I see a little Ho pass me by. I saw Fiona and K. Quez!!! I joined them and we met with Jann, who was walking towards us when we went outside. Then, we went to Pinkberry. K. Quez got this really big shaved ice, while Jann & Fiona shared a frozen yogurt. K. Sy came and we went to Jamba Juice. K. Quez got a Mango-a-Go-Go, K. Sy got a Strawberry something, & I got a White Gummy Bear. Then, we went to the Galleria.

We explored...the Apple store...a pet shop...Claire's...Target...etc. We went to Forever 21 at the Americana and parted our ways. I went to Borders Books and Music Store near the Marketplace, while they went to Urban Outfitters. So it was a pretty chill day!

Morallity

No one in the world is truly good. No one in the world is truly bad. Some people are just, while others are injust. That doesn't mean they're good or bad. They just stood for what they believe in. Take Snape from the Harry Potter books as an example. He was a Death Eater, but he became a member of the Order of the Phoenix. Although his actions have been deemed evil, such as killing Dumbledore (actually put him out of misery), he was really good at heart. It seemed fitting that he died a hero. So basically, the girl you think is so "heavenly' might actually be a badass, while that emo guy you think you hate might actually be a decent guy.

Yesterday was awesome & fun or fun & awesome. I went to the Americana to meet up with Nina. While I waited for her to come, I went inside Barnes & Noble. I read the ending of Breaking Dawn. The ending was so good. Bella & Edward...just read the book.

So Nina went to Barnes & Noble and I met up with her. We went to the 3rd floor and I helped her look for a book for the AP Euro book assignment. She was deciding between getting Wuthering Heights & New Moon (not a book for the assignment). But in the end, she chose Wuthering Heights. After she payed for her book, we went outside.

I went to Pinkberry with her & she got her frozen yogurt. We then went to Jamba Juice 'cuz I was craving for a White Gummy Bear Smoothie. After that, we went H & M and Forever 21.

Then, we went back to Barnes & Noble and we saw Tony at the café but we didn't say hi to him because he was working. Interrupting him would be rude. We just got books and read. Bryan texted me about his iPhone and he asked me to visit the Apple Store later. So I said yes. Sam & K. Sy came to Barnes & Noble and met up with us. Sam left to get his check from Surf City and the three of us went to Sansai.

We ate a lot & Sam came back and he called Atina to get over here. I went to the Apple Store and they told me to tell Bryan that he needed to bring his iPhone in for inspection. I went back to Sansai and Atina was there already. K. Sy, Nina, Atina, Sam, & I just chilled at Sansai. Then, the four left for Stephanie's house to get contracts. I went home and watched scary movies. I slept at around 1:30 a.m. Crazy, huh?

Drill Team Beach Trips

They have come to an end for this summer. But I wish the last one could've ended DIFFERENTLY. So many things to do, so many places to be. Seal Beach was bigger than I expected it to be, but in just those 5 trips (I missed one beach trip), I just explored one tiny strip of shops.

I will miss that pizza place that serves the best pizza (according to me, so chill). I will miss those huge-ass waves. I will miss the events that occurred during our trips. But I'm glad for the bonding that took place. Bryan was trying so hard for our rank to bond. I just thought I'd make it a little bit more challenging for him (being ME). So no hard feelings, right? Anyways, I think I got to know our rank a little better. Now, I know that our rank is nuts. Just kidding. Stephanie's off in England. I asked her to bring me some British money just for the heck of it. At 6:00 p.m., we said goodbye to the beach & the bus took us home.

We came back to school around 6:30 p.m. and K. Sy, K. Quez, Bryan, Nina, & I were planning to watch a movie at K. Quez's house. Fiona invited Lauren & me to her place, but I was already planning to watch a movie with the others, so they left. I'm not done yet.

K. Quez & Nina started talking privately for like a long-ass time. So K.Sy, Bryan, & I were just waiting for them...K. Sy went home to drop off his things, Bryan was listening to his iPhone, & I was ready to kill someone. During that time, I called Fiona & Lauren just to let them know that I was still @ GHS and I was so friggin' bored that we made up Armenian names for each other (Fiona's Arpineh, Lauren's Haykanoush, & I'm Ara). Then, she hung up on me to "eat" with Lauren. How rude. just kidding, Ho. Fiona's last name is Ho...I know, right?

So, it was 8:30 p.m. and they finally finished talking.
They went to K. Quez's house without me because my mom planned to pick me up early. So now I'm home. Good times, good times. But they could've been better.

Summer School

It finally ENDED. Finally! I can get some sleep. I'm psyched about Drill Team's last beach trip tomorrow too...Anyways...No more 4-hour classes in the morning, no more long-ass homework, & definitely no more annoying teachers. I hope you enjoy what's left of summer. Four more weeks left & then it's back-to-school. So have fun while you can & make what's left of summer count. And hey...

Choices

That is so TRUE. No matter how GOOD or how BAD an event is, there's always this aftershock. Whether you cheat on a test or have sex while you're fifteen, there's another event that happens when the present one passes. You might get an STD, you might get raped, you might get pregnant (if you're a girl), or nothing might happen to you. It's like you go on one road & that road branches off into more roads. Some are dirty, some are clean, some lead to nowhere. The key is to make the right choice, whatever that is. That's because there is NO right choice. You either do it one way or you do it the other. Or the other other...Sometimes the "right" choice just comes to you like an instinct. It's plain & simple. In this thing called "life," just do the THINKING before the ACTING. You might just actually get somewhere.

Earthquakes

One happened today. But I guess you already knew that. It was a 5.4 on the Richter scale, but we just felt one of its aftershock. The strongest had a magnitude of 3.6.

It was sort of funny, though. Our Chemistry teacher started panicking majorly. Is "majorly" even a word? Hmm...Anyways, when we were under our desks, we just started cracking up for some unknown reason. But our teacher looked like he was about to pee his pants. I think he DID. After the quake passed, he called the main office & they said we had to evacuate the whole building pronto.

We evacuated the building & went to the baseball diamond. I brought 1984 with me outside. The book was alright. I mean I was still at the beginning, so I wouldn't really know. Most people brought their cell phones and they called their parents to let them know they were alright. I, too, had the urge to call someone. But I forgot my cell phone at home. Took me a while to figure THAT out (I'm actually exaggerating).

The parents on the phone were talking crazy, though. For example, Andrew's mom asked him if he was dead. Hello?! Excuse me, but if your son was dead, he wouldn't be speaking to you, now would he? But I guess you're a parent & obviusly that's how worried parents sound like. So props, Andrew's mom.

I hope that no one you knew was injured or anything like that. The media reported no acccounts of injury, but you can't be too sure of that now, can you?
